Rescue Story

Recently a family contacted hu-mom regarding their pug puppy.  They couldn't keep her and were looking for a new home. Hu-mom explained how Mid Atlantic Pug Rescue worked and the great care that our dogs are given.  After almost a month of conversation, the family surrendered their beloved pug puppy to us.

Her name is Daisy.  She was supposedly a full bred pug, but hu-mom says otherwise....but it really doesn't matter.

Daisy was at our house for 1 1/2 days.  She had no training at all. Couldn't walk on a leash and was not potty trained.  She never potty'ed out side the time we had her. But she did potty inside...
She was very sweet, full of puppy energy and really, really wanted Mack to play with her, LOL!  She drove Minnie and Mario crazy.

Hu-mom knew we couldn't foster Daisy, since we still had foster Mario and it wouldn't be fair them.  So this morning hu-mom and Mario drove Daisy to her foster home, about 2 hours away.

Well, we just got word that Daisy has been adopted and her new forever family will be picking her up tonight!  That must be the shortest foster time on record.

Daisy in one of her few quiet moments!

Congrats Daisy and your new forever family!!!!!!!!!!!

Love,

The puppies always go fast! Glad she got into rescue and found a home quickly. Just wish folks were as eager to adopt the older ones.

Oh he is a charmer! How is my Minnie Moo doing? And my man Mario? Is the training still going good? Yay for Daisy finding her forever home!!! You did a good thing for her and I'm sure she will learn potty manners. That is funny that of all three pups available she wanted Mack to play. I bet he was thinking "who is this young whipper snapper??".
