I do not like to wake up early in the morning. There I've said it. Now the whole world knows.
This is the torture I'm put through everyday to get up at 5:15AM to go to work with Hu-mom. If left alone, I'd be the last one up and usually am on the weekends. Mack is such a suck up.....he pops up immediately when they go into his bedroom, and is ready to eat, jumping around and acting all stupid.
See 2 lumps? The one on the left is Hu-dad, the one on the right is me.
Every morning they peel back the covers and start the process of waking me up. Hu-dad is much more kind about it than Hu-mom. He sweet talks me and let's me s-l-o-w-l-y wake up, yawn and stretch some. Hu-mom justs yanks off the covers and says it time to get up. How cruel!!!
How can you wake up this sweet little thing?

Now that is just cruel! Do you want me to make a call to the ASPCA for you? I like to curl up under the covers for as long as possible, too!

Awww Minnie you are a sweet sleeper. Mom always wakes me up with "Good morning sunshine" greetings and lots of ear scrathes and belly rubs. Maybe she can sneak you some breakfast n bed!!

Awww Minnie, I don't blame you at all for being upset. The only thing that gets me out from under the covers these days is if Dad starts a fire before work.Then its saunter down and plunk myself there until breakfast is served.

I don't like to get up either. Lincoln usually wakes me up, crying or scratching, such a drama dog.

Oh Minnie - I'm not a morning doggie either! :-) It takes me a looooooon time to get going in the mornings! (and in the afternoons, evenings...!)

Humpfh. I guess I kind of have a small bladder, so I lick mom's face until she wakes up (as it is still dark) and takes me outside. BUT, then I dive back under the covers and have to be peeled out when she leaves for work :(
