I just talked to the vet. Minnie's blood work came back normal, the pancreas levels were normal. So it doesn't look like pancreatitis. Just some kind of intestinal upset. She has had no more vomiting and only one more bout of a little diarrhea. Minnie has had some medication to ease her discomfort and is now curled up in her kennel with IV going, etc. She was dehydrated. I will check back about 4-5PM this afternoon to see how she's doing and if/when she can come home.

Oh, I am so relieved to read your update! Poor Minnie! How quickly things can go from normal to bad.
I hope today brings relief and comfort so we can get her back home!!!

This is some good news. It'll be much better news when she's released and back home. I wonder if there is some kind of intestinal virus sweeping the country. Five of our nine dogs weren't feeling well over the last couple of weeks. They just kept passing it around from one to the other. The symptoms weren't as severe as Minnie's, but they were vomiting and not wanting to eat anything, even treats or hot dogs. Just one was sick enough to have to see the vet. All are back to normal now. I think Minnie will be too after 24 hours. Thanks for the update and keep us posted.
Poor Minnie. We hope she's feeling better soon.
