Look who slept over! Ripley was here Friday and Saturday nights. He always draws attention from us doggies and of course, the kitties.
Mack and I like to be vaccuum cleaners around her cage. Ripley is always throwing us goodies. The kitties, well Osiris anyway, just like to look at Ripley.
Hu-mom here: Doggies and kitties in our house are not allowed to "look" at Ripley. This started from the very beginning when they 1st came to live at our house. Ripley has been around longer than the doggies or the kitties. So now the doggies just look for "goodies" thrown from her cage and the kitties just walk on by.
Ripley is in her "going to Grandma's" cage. She has a really big one at her own house and a T stand, too. Hu-mom always feels bad that Ripley is not allowed out at our house. But then hu-mom doesn't want to get bitten! Ripley will bite if agitated. She's very talkative and we all enjoy listening to her talk and all the sounds of the household that she makes.
Ripley can imatate the whistle hu-mom uses to call us. Ripley used to fool us! She always makes the microwave sounds. Yesterday hu-mom came downstairs to see who was using the microwave! Ha ha ha, fooled you!
Ripley's hu-mom Dana, is always making her lots of homemade toys to chew on. She stuffs empty toilet paper rolls with lots of goodies then stuffs paper shreds and straw into the ends. African Greys are really smart birdies. At the bottom of the picture above, you can see one that Ripley has been working on.
Mack is lookiing at hu-mom instead of Ripley.
Osiris is sitting under the table NOT looking at Ripley.
Brodie could care less and is napping in the office.
And me.....doing what I like to do best! Ripley is here? ha ha ha
Do I look fat in this picture? Must be the angle.

Have fun at the park today!! I enjoyed meeting Ripley. It's fun to have visitors every once in a while. Loved the photos of all of you, cats included, NOT looking at Ripley. By the way, Minnie you do not look fat. You look like the perfect sized cuddle bug!
Holy heck what the Sam Hill is that? Un-huh. Mommy brought one of those homes I'd be packing my bag. You two are better pups than us
Hi Minnie,
You look cute lounging. My Mom laughed out loud reading the whistle & microwave comment.
I've never seen an African Grey, my Mom told me they have a diverse vocabulary & are very smart.
Enjoy your day at the park!
Hugs,
Suki
We are going to the dog park today, too! Not as warm as yesterday, but at least the sun is shining.
Naps all around on the agenda here today. Have a great day.
pawhugs, Max
I'm not sure Ripley would be as safe at our house! He sure is cute, though!
I hope you had fun at the dog park!

Wow - what a COOL houseguest!! Hsin-Yi just loves, loves, loves African Greys! They are such clever birdies! But she says it is so sad that many people just buy them for the fun of getting a talking a parrot and don't realise how much mental stimulation & company they need and then they live terrible lives and pull out their own feathers and it's so sad...but Ripley sounds like he is very loved and well-cared for and lots of attentions given to him!
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
Ripley sounds like a lot of fun! We had a Quaker parrot named Emmett, who was affecionately called "the buzzard from hell". Ha. You all look well behaved around him.
