Mardi Gras is Tuesday, March 8, 2011!
I thought I would celebrate along with those folks in New Orleans.
What is Mardi Gras you ask? My friend Wikepdiea says:
"Mardi Gras season", and "Carnival season" in English, refer to events of the Carnival celebrations, beginning on or after Epiphany and ending on the day before Ash Wednesday. Mardi Gras is French for "Fat Tuesday" (in ethnic English tradition, Shrove Tuesday), referring to the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season, which started on Ash Wednesday.
Here I am modeling my doggie beads (those are doggies between the colored beads) that hu-mom picked up when she was in New Orleans in January for work and my tiara!
So I guess that means I'll be having a GREAT dinner!
Happy Mardi Gras everyone,
Minnie

LOVE those beads and that tiara! And perfect for Pugapalooza this year. The theme is Mardi Paws! You have to come down for that! It's in May, either May 7 or May 21. We are waiting to hear from an agility pug which day works better. We'll let you know if you want to come and party with us!
