A Walk with Hu-mom

Hu-mom said the wash was done, the house was clean and dinner was in the oven, "Lets go for a walk!" So of course Mack and I jumped up and ran to the door.  It is a beautiful 57 degrees out, perfect for a walk around the neighborhood. It was early afternoon so we didn't run into many walkers, 2 legs or 4 legged types.
What we did see were trees that were finally changing colors!  So beautiful this time of year.
I was on the lookout for 4 legged anything.  But only saw an occasional squirrel....
Mack likes to walk on the grass more than the sidewalk.  Hu-mom said it is probably more comfortable on his feet.  He hates to have his nails trimmed, so they get long.
We thought hu-mom said "treat".  I guess we were wrong! No treats.....

 More beautiful fall colors.
This is our house with trees just starting to change.

After about 45 minutes, we ended back at our house. Our legs were tired and we both had a long drink!  Now it's time for a siesta before dinner.

Love, Minnie :)

Beautiful! I wish we got the fall colors, but they seem to go from yellow to brown in one day. We just got back from a walk about 10 minutes ago since it was such a sunny day. The breeze was really cold though so I had to wear a t-shirt. You and Mack look so cute in the "treat" picture! I'm glad you enjoyed your long walk.
Love,
Payton

THAT is the only thing I like about this time of year ... the colors are beautiful! Add a handsome pug and a pretty puggle - it doesn't get much better than that, does it!?!

Pretty colors! Ours haven't really started yet. Amazing how much difference 100 miles makes. The weather did turn a little cold though, great walking weather.
Glad you are doing so well Minnie! Mack is looking spiffy, too.

Beautiful colors! We had our first frost warning last night, making it too cold for kitty cats to go out this morning!

Love your pictures Minnie and I feel Mack's pain, I hate my nails trimmed too. Did your Mom at least cough up a treat when you got back home?

Hi Minnie & Mack,
The fall leaves haven't turned here yet. Your fall foliage is pretty. I especially like the American flag at the front of the house!

Thanks for the beautiful show of fall colors. We don't get much of that down here in Florida. Good to see them.

Thanks too for downloading The Zen of Max.... Hope you like it.
