Driving Miss Daisy

Miss Daisy

Monday was a happy and sad day for us here at Casa Cooper.  Our 1st foster from Mid Atlantic Pug Rescue, Miss Daisy, was going to her forever home!  After being with us for a month, we all (well, not me, Minnie) fell in love with that little black puggie girl!  The pictures below are of Daisy in the car getting ready for her 6 hour trip from Northern Virginia to Raleigh NC to her new home.  Relatives of ours were visiting for the weekend and agreed to drive Miss Daisy down to Raleigh on their way back to Charlotte NC.
They left pretty early in the AM and it was cold.  Hu-mom was trying to be strong, so she didn't try real hard to get a good pictures.  But here is Miss Daisy in her traveling outfit, ready to go!

We've heard from her new family and she seems to be fitting right in.  We can't wait to receive some pictures.

We will be taking a foster break until the humans get back from a trip they're taking in a few weeks.  Then we'll be ready for another foster doggie!

Have a wonderful weekend!
Love, Minnie  : )

Fostering is hard work. We've failed each time we've tried. And that's why we have the "9-Pack" living at our house!

We still vote daily for the Pug Rescue. We're happy that the last time we checked the standings, they were still in the Top 10 in NC!

So exciting for Miss Daisy to finally be in her forever home! But I can imagine how bitter sweet it must be for humom. The entire Cooper family is so awesome to foster again! Have a great weekend! Snuggles and kisses to Mack!

It's so hard to let them go, but these foster babies go on to wonderful new homes. That's what you have to remember, although it doesn't really help the sadness.
Time will help though.

Oh man! Minnie & Mack, b/c my Mom is so lazy we missed all out on your adventures with Miss Daisy! Don't worry though b/c I'm forcing Mom to catch up.

Fostering is really hard according to my Mom. I try to pretend it's not hard on me b/c I'm the man of the house, but between me & you, I miss the little fellers when they're gone too. Shhhh! Top secret!!!

Thanks to you and your mom for helping Daisy on her journey. My mom says she hopes Daisy's family keeps in touch because she says that makes it a whole lot easier.

I'm off to read more about your adventures that we missed while Mom was being lazy!

Later!
Vito
