Minnie's 5th Birthday

Today is Minnie's 5th birthday!!    They day we picked her up was so much fun!  There were 4 of us for the trip which was about 2 hours away. She weighed only 3 pounds. We didn't have a name picked out yet, so I said we needed to have a name decided on by noon.  There were a lot of names thrown out, but since our last name is Cooper, I decided on Minnie Cooper (like the little car just spelled differently).  Minnie mostly slept with her HuAunt Dana on the 3rd back seat.  She has brought so much joy and happiness to our household since then.  She is sweet and loving, but still loves to play and the outdoors.

It is sock monkey and a sock cow!

She really loves the monkey and hasn't touched the cow yet. I wonder how long Monkey will keep his stuffing and squeaker?

Yesterday, I made homemade Dog Treats for the first time.  They actually smelled really good.  Both Minnie and Mack approved of Peanut Butter Oat Biscuits.

I made 4 sizes.  The big bone is kind of weird! 

Yesterday we attended our 2nd Puggle MeetUp.  We visited with friends and made a lot of new ones, too!

Of course, the group welcomed any human and/or dog that showed up! I was amazed at the variety of Pug mixes and the names of the mixed breeds:  Bugs, Jugs, etc.  They are just all nice doggies.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. We're looking forward to our Active Dog MeetUp next week at the Ice Cream shop at Reston Town Center and hopefully, another Puggle and friends MeetUp, too.
