Sock Monkey Business

This morning hu-mom took Mack and me for a long walk down to Folley Lick Stream Park.  We wanted to check out the stream and see how the recent rains had affected it.  A few days ago, during our evening walk, and during one the heaviest of rain fall days, our evening dog walking friends checked it out.  It was too dark for pictures, but the stream was moving very fast and was overflowing it's banks.  It scared me!  Anyway, the stream was back to it's normal size but there were a jillion new smells to check out.  Hu-mom forgot the camera and/or Flip camera.  :(  It was 51 F degrees outside, so it was perfect walking weather.

Anyway, after getting back to home, the zoomies took over my body.  (Kathy here- Minnie gets zoomie at the oddest times...after a very long hike or walk or near the end of our daily evening walk with our other doggie friends.  And of course, the zoomies after a bath!)
By the time hu-mom got the Flip out, the zoomies were about over but the squeekies appeared in Mr. Monkey.  Listen to the video!  Now Mack does the face wipe thingy, I guess being a Pug with face folds that are a nuisance to keep clean he feels he must do them. Do you other Puggies out there do the face wipe thingy?  Watch out Mack, hu-mom will get out the stinky face wipe cloths.....

Well, here is the video:

Have a Happy Sunday!!

HA! HA! MAck's 'face-wiping' is just the funniest thing! Actually, I do something similar on the sofa armrest - to wipe off my slobber! :-) Well, I only do it if my human isn't around to catch me - if she is, I get a Telling-Off and she makes squealy noises about all the slobber on the sofa - what's she talking about? I think the slobber adds to the sofa design!

Blueberry always wipes her face on the back of the couch and it drives Mom crazy! I guess it's not just a Pug thing.

You sure made that monkey scream for mercy! I have a lot of sock monkey stuff here -- even my own sock monkey collar. They're just so much fun!

Oh poor Mack!!! My face is ESPECIALLY itchy this time of year because all of the corn and soybean fields are being harvested and it makes me (and the hoomans) SNEEZE!!! Mom has to use the wipey things on my folds every DAY or else I get stinky cheesy gunk in there.

Mom was all giggly at the silly music! HAHAHA

SOCK MONKEYS RULE!!!

Hope your face feels better! Let mom use the wipey things and you'll feel better!

Love,
S-Dog

Hahaha, you are the best squeeky squeezer I ever saw Minnie! I am a huge face masher, Sluggo too. Brigitte has more of a snout, kinda like you so she doesn't have the face cheese issues!

oh...does Mack do that because his face is itchy? Thank goodness the bed is soft and plush.

Minnie, you are having so much fun with your monkey. I wish I was there to play with you.

What a great toy! Toys that squeak are always the best.

And yes, I always try to wipe my face, either against things or with my paws. Sometimes I try to clean it like a cat but that's just because I hear all the time it smells like Fritos. A lady has got to smell good ya know...

P.S. the video was the da bomb!

Muah,

Minnie Moo and Lincoln too

You've got mad squeaking skills! Mommy had to turn the sound down though because it was making us think it's time to play.

Mom also loves the music. It reminds of her music from a sitcom. We think since you have the music you should have your own show!
