Weekend Update

Doggie Donation Play Date to benefit the Help the Homeless through Fannie Mae Corporation was held yesterday by a member of our puggle meet up group. We had a great time on a beautiful day! Beside puggles we had a bunch of other types of doggies help out, too!

At the dog park waiting to get out!
Mack checking out the "hood".

A few of the puggles and a beagle friend in attendance.

More puggle friends.

And more puggles....

We hope Lucy and Sophie's mom raised lots of money for the homeless! Fannie Mae Corp is getting ready to hold a 5K walk (animals allowed) in a few weeks as part of Help the Homeless campaign.  Some of my puggle friends will be participating.  Good luck to them all.

I told you about the new store that was opening yesterday. It's called Whole Pet Central. Hu-mom was ready to take some pictures or videos but it was so crowded in the little store that she decided it would be better to do it another day.   We got free treats and were able to sniff around the store picking out some goodies that we we brought home.  Lots of goodies......
I met the biggest Siberian Husky that I have ever seen at the store, too.  She/he was very sweet and gentle.

There were also adoptable pets lining the walkway outside the store.  Hu-mom was ready to bring a few home!  Bark and Bubbles wasn't there when we were, so we missed the free nail clipping.......:)
This was probably the biggest store opening in town in a long time.  Everyone in the area must own a dog.  (Besides everything in the store is 20% off this weekend.)  Who can pass up a sale!!!!!
Mack and I look forward to visiting again and getting some photos.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After all of that we made a quick stop at the library so hu-mom could pick up a book.  We were not in our car seats, hu-mom hadn't put them back in the car yet.  There were some goodies boxes on the back seat that we got at the Help the Homeless benefit.  I was good......        Hu-mom was gone less than 5 minutes.  Mack was able to tear open his goodie box and start eating the goodies.  You should have seen hu-mom's face.  Mack didn't even deny what he did.  I was a good girl and was just sitting in the front seat waiting for her come back out. That would have made some good photos!
We were so tired when we got home, we slept until dinner time and evening walk.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
