Hu-mom at the computer today. Minnie and Mack are watching football in front of the fireplace with hu-dad.
Here's the story:
While we were out of town a care taker came to stay at our house to care for Grandmother. Evidently the caretaker was ill and passed it on to Grandmother. Caretaker just thought she had allergies...so a mew care taker was placed earlier in the week, who was great. She took Gmother to the doctor and then to the hospital and stayed with her until she was settled in her room at the hospital on Friday afternoon.. I got home Friday night. Grandmother has only 50% lung capacity and floppy airways, so a simple cold or virus for her is extremely serious.
Saturday I was at the hospital on and off all day.
About 11:30 last night the hospital called and said Grandmother had been moved to the PCU unit because her heart was beating too fast. Today we were told she suffered a mild heart attack last night. We talked with the cardiologist and he said she will be ok with just medications, No evasive testing, only an echocardiogram. She's happy about that and would probably have refused the more evasive testing anyway. Once her breathing problems (the reason for her admission) decreases, she will be able to be discharged,-hopefully in a day or two....
So sorry no pictures, Minnie and Mack and the kitties have been so loving and sweet! We hope Gmother will be discharged soon and we can get back to blogging!
Thanks for all your wishes for Grandmother, they are deeply appreciated.

OH NO! Tell your Grandma that we're thinking of her! Maybe you can tell hu-mom to capture some of Mack's "pug snooter" in a jar and then take the jar to Grandma in the hospital. My mom firmly believes that Pug snooter has medicinal and magic healing powers!
Keep us posted!
