Minnie is home!!!!!! with 2 pages of instructions and lots of medications. She is strictly on a menu of boiled chicken and white rice in 4-5 small meals a day until further notice. It's a good thing she loves chicken best! She will follow up with her internist and regular vet in the coming weeks. No walks or exertion for a while... no being in the heat. She is not out of the woods yet...
The doctor noted on the instructions: Minnie is a sweet girl and has been a good patient!
We just read that Fred the hound dog of http://www.houndgirl.com/ had a seizure this morning. We send our thoughts and prayers to them.

I'm so happy Minnie is home and doing fine. Hope that every day she'll feel better :) one of my girls Pucia is also on chicken/rice diet. She was rescue from puppy mill, and has some belly problems. Kisses for Minnie :)
We are just so thrilled for Minnie and the rest of the family! But I can see it now...food wars! Will Mack get jealous of the chicken and rice diet? Give Minnie (and Mack) lots of extra hugs and snuggles from us.

Just checking back in on Minnie. I'm so glad she's home now. Our vet always writes, "Lots of TLC!" at the bottom of our instructions. I'm sure Minnie is gettong lots of TLC.
